	The Green Waste Recycling Facility has compost and wood chip products available. Three sizes of ground wood chips are available at $10 per scoop. Compost is available for $25 per scoop. 	Wasatch Integrated's Household Hazardous Waste Facility is located at the landfill. The household hazardous waste facility accepts, E-WASTE, paint, varnish, pesticides, lawn care products, aerosols, paint thinner, antifreeze, motor oil, diesel, gasoline, cleaning items, automotive products, rechargeable and lead acid batteries, etc. in household quantities. Click on the e-waste link above for important e-waste disposal information. There is no charge for drop off of household hazardous waste. The Household Hazardous Waste Facility is located at the landfill and open during landfill operating hours, Monday through Saturday. For additional information call 614-5600. Wasatch Integrated accepts refrigerant containing units. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units, etc. are accepted at the landfill and energy recovery facility for a $30.00 per item fee. The fee covers the cost of proper refrigerant removal by a certified technician. A complete rate schedule can be viewed by clicking on fees.

	The Recycling Drop-Off Center is brand new and open for business at the Davis Landfill. The facility accepts mixed paper, newspaper, numbers 1 and 2 plastic, number 2 colored plastic, aluminum, steel food cans, cardboard, and glass (no brown). Dowload our User's Guide for specifics. Pre-sort or come prepared to sort your recyclables to help keep this facility free of charge. The facility is open during landfill hours.

	The University of Utah completed a study comparing residential dioxin levels in Davis County to those in the Denver Front Range. Davis County dioxin levels are lower than the Denver Front Range. Download a copy of the study here.

	Integrated Waste Services Association (IWSA) recently wrote a letter to the editor which sets the record straight after several opposition groups released an inaccurate report on waste-to-energy.
	The American Society of Mechanical Engineers recently issued an Executive Summary in support of waste to energy as a renewable energy source.
